POSTPONED: AET Post-16: Making Sense of Autism Raising Awareness (via Microsoft Teams) – Wednesday 1st February 2023

Due to industrial action taking place on Wednesday 1st February, we have taken the decision to postpone the AET Post 16: Making Sense of Autism session due to take place on that date. There is another course available which will be taking place on Thursday 9th March at 9.30am – 11.00am.

 

These 90-minute sessions are suitable for all staff working directly with autistic young people in a Post-16 setting.

Participants will learn:

  • To develop your understanding of autism and what makes good autism practice.
  • Practical strategies to support outcomes and experiences for the students with whom you work.
  • To use tools provided to develop and evaluate your practice and that in your setting
