Safeguarding: Autism and Staying Safe

A FREE* seminar for Strategic Leads (AET Good Autism Practice trained) and Lead Practitioners (AET Leading Good Autism Practice trained)

Outcomes:

• To raise awareness of the vulnerabilities of Children & Young People with autism
• To be clear about the potential risk factors for Children & Young People with autism within the school setting
• To consider the response  of school staff in keeping Children & Young People safe, within the context of current legislation, local policy and procedures and the Autism Education Frameworks

The duration of this course is 3 hours and you need only attend one of the dates. If you want to book this course, please do not also book a place for the 23rd January date as this is the same course.
